Owler, the leading community-based business insights platform, ranked Clearwater Compliance CEO Bob Chaput as the highest-rated company CEO in the city of Nashville. Chaput is one of the country’s leading healthcare cybersecurity experts. The West-Coast-based corporate information startup launched its inaugural Top-Rated CEO Rankings, which provides a true market view of CEO ratings based on over a quarter million inputs from members of the Owler Community. The ratings break down the most-liked CEOs across the country by industry and city as well as comparing CEOs at public and private organizations.
In addition, Owler reports that people living in Nashville have the best chance of working for a beloved CEO. Of the 30 cities with the most businesses listed on Owler, Nashville has the highest average CEO rating with a score of 82.4. Nashville is the healthcare management capital of the United States. Healthcare companies headquartered in Nashville generate more than $70 billion in revenue and employ more than 400,000 people. Eighteen of these companies are publicly traded. The healthcare industry is Nashville’s fastest growing sector, home to leading healthcare companies not found anywhere else, including hospital management, health information technology, disease management, management of physician transitions, behavioral health and wellness, clinical care, and data management.
Chaput has been at the center of some of the biggest and most high-profile healthcare networking and computing infrastructures. His company, Clearwater, experienced a huge spike in demand from hospitals and health systems in 2016-2017 to manage the evolving cyber threats in healthcare that are becoming increasingly complex, sophisticated and intrusive, costing hospitals millions of dollars in brand reputation and regulatory fines. Clearwater’s rapid market penetration has enabled momentum in establishing new collaborations with organizations such as Intel, the American Hospital Association and the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE).
“Owler’s first annual list of top-rated CEOs is the only official ranking that provides a true market view of America’s best-loved leaders,” said Jim Fowler, founder & CEO of Owler. “These executives received high approval ratings from employees, suppliers, partners, and even competitors, to beat out 99.4 percent of other CEOs featured on our platform. They truly are the best of the best in the global marketplace.”
Owler’s 2017 Top-Rated CEO Rankings report includes all CEOs *with 10 or more ratings spanning 50 cities and 25 industries.
